REASONS YOU SHOULD BE FOLLOWING A PROGRAMME 
 It's all very well going into the gym, throwing a few weights around and jumping on a treadmill for a bit but that will only get you so far in terms of progress. A structured programme that consists of the correct volume, frequency, rest periods and exercises, as well as one that follows progressive overload and continues to challenge you, is the most efficient and effective way to get you to your goals.

THEY CREATE CONSISTENCY AND STRUCTURE.
A programme gives you something to stick to instead of randomly flitting from workout to workout. This increases the chances of being consistent with your training.  Yes, you can randomly do exercises you saw on Instagram and still feel like you're doing something... but building a strong body requires so much more than just doing something that feels hard. 

Without a plan, you have no real idea of how you are going to achieve your goal and when the going gets tough, if you don't have a plan in place, it's so much easier to give up.

Your training program needs to have the right amount of volume,  frequency and intensity for you and your goals.

ENSURES YOU ARE BEING CHALLENGED.
With no programme in place, it's easy to stay comfortable with your training and exercise selection. If we keep going back to what feels comfortable we never grow mentally or physically.

Accountability means taking responsibility for the your actions to successfully transform your efforts into results- to take ownership of your own actions.
